THE NEW LATIN JAZZ EXPERIENCE
After a break of several years and a volatile period of life, the music he writes begins to change, just as the perception of the sounds around him changes. The meeting with the Brazilian Luis André Carneiro de Oliveira on drums and the Austrian Max Ranzinger on bass makes these changes take a real form. With this formation, the trio recorded some demos and released two videos. Some time later, Austrian bassist Wolfram Derschmidt stepped in for Max, and the current Hamlet’s Latin Jazz Experience Trio was born.
They just finished recording their latest album “Susurros”, the third as a Hamlet’s Latin Jazz Experience and the first as a trio project. The final result is a enjoyable, reflective and evocative music but vibrant and energetic at the same time. The new album will debut around summer 2022 under the same company FREIAUDIO RECORDS.
New tunes, new energy with a more intimate sound gives the group a special touch and a new direction. All compositions are still Hamlet originals, the repertoire passes through rhythms between folklore and tradition of South America (primarily Colombia, Brazil, Cuba …) with a personal perspective made out of a mixture of energetic rhythms and inspired melodies.

THE HISTORY
THE LATIN JAZZ EXPERIENCE PROJECT
The Latin Jazz Experience besides being the favorite is also the main project of Hamlet. Reached the age of 40 and after 25 years of musical experience, Hamlet decides to form his own band and being inspired by bands as Afromantra, Sammy Figueroa and his Latin Jazz Explosion, Nueva Manteca and others, he decided to put together a latin jazz sextet.
In 2009 he released his first album (all original compositions) under the Austrian record label FREIAUDIO RECORDS entitled “Descarumbiando”, the album met a moderately large mainstream success internationally, as well as appreciated by critics worldwide. In the same year they are awarded unanimously by the American Latin Jazz Corner followers as a ’’2009 Next Generation Artist’’, then followed a series of successful concerts.
In 2013 Hamlet released his second album of originals “Pa’Lante…Siguiendo El Camino” for the same record label. With this title Hamlet meant that whatever happens his music is still here following his path, siguiendo el camino! This work is also well received by international critics.
